Cat
Cats live in various places such as near the hotel in Mykonos and near the port. Churches, restaurants and cafes are also frequently visited by cats. Greece can be said to be an environment where cats can easily live in a warm area with a Mediterranean climate. In addition, there are many tourists on Mykonos Island, and there is also a background that it is easy for stray cats to get spilled while eating at the shop. Also, this is not a good thing, as the economy in Greece is in a slump and some of the original owners are giving up their cats. As a result, the number of stray cats is increasing. Stray cats are spayed and neutered by volunteers, and if they can’t find foster parents, they are released back into the city.
