Malayan tapir is the only tapirus inhabiting Asia among the four existing tapirus species. It inhabits Southeast Asia such as Malay Peninsula, Thailand and Myanmar. Characteristic

The life is said to be about 30 years. Food eats plants, nuts, branches and fruits. I live in rivers and swamps and prefer the tropics.
