A crescent-shaped mountainous South Georgia located 1,300 km east-southeast of the Falkland Islands. It is an overseas territory of England and is famous as an island where penguins live. Discovered in 1675, it is also known as the Galapagos Islands in the Antarctic because it is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including 100,000 king penguins and thousands of giant seals, fur seals, and birds.
