Bulawayo is a major city in southwestern Zimbabwe. It was a place where many ethnic minorities, the Ndebele tribe, lived, but due to the slaughter of the inhabitants, Bulawayo, which means "land of slaughter" in the Ndebele language, became the name of the city. Bulawayo is the second largest city in Zimbabwe and the central city in the southwestern region.
