African wild ass

African wild ass is an animal that belongs to the genus Equine of the family Odd-toed ungulate. It is a large wild donkey that inhabits Ethiopia, Eritrea, Egypt, Djibouti, Sudan, etc. A donkey that lives in arid areas such as grasslands and semi-deserts, and is said to be the ancestor of domestic donkeys.
