Bosnia and Herzegovina

Banja Luka is said to be the second largest city in Bosnia. It is an old town that has existed since Roman times, and developed as the central city of the Bosnian region during the Ottoman Empire. A beautiful valley spreads along the river Vrbas, which flows through the city, and in recent years it has become popular as a leisure spot. It is surrounded by hills and forms a depression, and is characterized by many springs in the city.
