Galapagos Islands Endangered Species: Galapagos Land iguana
The Galapagos land iguana is a member of the Iguana that lives only in the Galapagos Islands of Ecuador. Galapagos land iguana often roams the island in search of flowers and fruits of the prickly pear cactus. This iguana has become a modern day, and humans have brought carnivorous animals such as dogs and cats to the Galapagos Islands, which has become a major threat, and the number of iguanas has declined sharply. In some areas this iguana has already become extinct.
