Icelandic Sheepdog is a breed of sheep dog native to Iceland. It is one of the few endemic breeds in Iceland and is more commonly bred than other Icelandic breeds and is a very common breed in the region of origin. It is considered one of the oldest breeds in the world, and the bones of this dog have been found in Danish and Swedish graveyards built around 8000 BC.
