
Endangered African Species: Burchell’s Savannah Zebra
Burchell's zebra is an animal that became extinct in the early 20th century due to overfishing by humans. However, it is an endangered animal that was confirmed to inhabit Namibia around 2004. Africa is home to three species of zebras, one of which. It is a subspecies of the plains zebra and has a different habitat from the plains zebra, and is distributed only around Namibia and Malawi.
