Animal Endangered Species: Northern Fur Seal
Northern fur seals are fur seals that inhabit the western United States, the Sea of Okhotsk, the Bering Sea, and Russia. It is a very widely distributed fur seal, and in the past its population was drastically reduced due to overfishing for fur purposes, and it was potentially extinct in the 19th century.
