Oita Prefecture

Fukajima is a small island located in Saiki City, Oita Prefecture. The island is known for its natural monument, the Japanese wood pigeon, but it is also home to rare creatures such as the purple coenobita. And the biggest attention is the cat. More than 100 cats live on this island, and Fukajima has become very well known in recent years.
