Oceania Endangered Species: Pig-nosed Turtle
Pig-nosed turtle is a family of turtles distributed from Indonesia to Australia. This species alone forms the Pig-nosed turtle family. The soft-shelled turtle is an aquatic turtle, also known as the pig-nosed turtle, and although it has the name "soft-shelled turtle", it is a different species from the soft-shelled turtle. Habitat destruction, water pollution, and overfishing have become problems with pig-nosed turtles, and their numbers are declining sharply. This animal is currently designated as an endangered species.
