Strap-toothed whales are whales that live in the Southern Hemisphere. It can be found in South Africa, Australia, Tasmania, Argentina and more. It is classified into the genus Mesoplodon of the family Cuvier's beaked whale. It is the largest species of Stejneger's whale.
